T.I.M.E.S. is a game in development at SUPINFOGAME France. In July, we will be happy to release our prototype on PC, and we hope that this project will give you a lot of fun.
The Intertemporal Mayhem Encounter Show (as known as T.I.M.E.S.) is the new TV Show in vogue. Brave candidates must fight against huge enemy armies from other eras. This new kind of gladiators will use all the modern equipment available to survive. Unfortunately for them, but happily for the show, they are considerably restricted in ammunitions! Every action has its consequences and has to be measured.
Viewers are not forgotten! They have strong powers and can deeply influence the game. They can choose intermediate missions the player has to achieve, or vote to give him bonuses or penalties… The game is in their hand.
Presented by a famous host master of the game, who is charged to give information to the player via his smartphone as he is the only one able to contact the player.
T.I.M.E.S. is a Free to Play video game. We intend to create a social platform where players can stream their games while viewers can vote to give bonuses or penalties depending on what they see in a game. Players are also allowed to get special equipment during a fight from the sponsors they chose.
As the game goes along, their avatars evolve in order to become the new stars of the show, customizing greatly their weapons and appearances. But they must be careful during the game, because death in the arena is highly punitive. Players can subscribe to assurances to avoid an unpleasant aftermath.
But first, a little gift for you: We finished the sniper during the week-end! Take a look at this.
When using, automatically activating the following Stress Factor : Impulsive shot
A classic sniper to be more discreet and fear from a far range.
Crucial to your survival. You’ll be able to see your opponents from really far away, and set up your attacks in consequence. It is also very useful to know how each enemy is affected by your actions : several symbols remind you the state of each enemy you zoom on (we will detail that symbols in the next news). So take a breath and a moment to think, fighting an entire army need some strategy.
To save ammunition, you can take the weapons of your neutralized opponents:
The samuraï's favorite weapon. You can take it and use their emblematic weapon against your enemies themselves. This is kind of risky because of its short range but it is as fast as your standard melee attack. In addition, you'll be able to save some ammunition and the audience could be impressed...
The ashigaru's weapon got a huge range for a melee weapon, but it is really slow to use.
In front of your futuristic firearms, the ashigaru's also got a powerful weapon. Made of woodstick and a string. And you can take it too. Of course, you'll be less skilled than the samuraïs but you can easily shoot arrows to a middling range.
Finally, you're not really all by yourself on the battlefield. As we told you before, you're always followed by your drone... unless you tell him to go somewhere else. To do so, you only have to point a place in the distance with the googles and press a key. Your drone will immediately run toward the place you've indicated. If you want to know what he is watching, just switch to the POV mod and you'll be able to see through his camera. It will give you another perspective of the battleground and a strategic advantage upon your enemies.
As you have probably noticed, your drone is designed to look like a dog, and every dog barks. This one only does it on your command. It's a perfect tool to grab the attention of the soldiers around and create a diversion.
If a soldier comes too close to the drone, he will be attacked before he got the time to blink. It can save your avatar from apparently inextricable situations. But pay attention, your drone can be deactivated if it takes too much damage.
