Expect a lot of improvements for the Fey's game-play.
New unit specific upgrades? :)
I love the Fey roster, so many trash swarming units, its the most macro focused faction in the game, much more swarmy than the actual Swarm.
And still they manage to retain the fairy tale aesthetic and appeal.
It was mostly reworked researches (lore was giving too much Xp), unit cost and economy (was burning too much crystal), faerie dragon can't attack ground unit anymore (to avoid early check mate against warlord+ AI, since they now build Titan and dragons) and things like that.
So Faerie Dragon now combos with Lightning Hawk for cheap air army?
It makes me a bit sad that Faerie Dragons no longer attack ground, they were my favourite Fey siege option, because fire does extra damage to buildings, but I guess it was necessary. Perhaps Fairy Fire upgrade can now affect Sylphs too to compensate?
Their status were tweaked as well. We thought the F. dragon, Sprite and L. hawk combo was devastating the early game (especially the AI was very powerful. They should be something like the swarm but getting stronger in time, while the Swarm is getting bigger).
So now you can use Fey units strategically, I think.
We are planning to give some researches for the Fey (mostly relating their own lore), but I don't know if they will be ready for this version.
