Talisman Prologue is an adaptation of the classic Fantasy board game Talisman by Games Workshop. This version focuses on single play structure. As the slogan says, this is where the Magical Quest begins. For those unfamiliar with this classic world of fantasy adventure, Talisman is a game like no other – indeed, it is no ordinary game but a fantastic quest in a world of magic and monsters. As you play, a story unfolds from turn to turn: a heroic epic of brave deeds, daring encounters, treasures and magic, of battles won and lost, but always a tale that enthralls!

We have been working hard on mobile versions of the game Talisman. It was always our goal to put this seminal board game in the mobile space and we are starting this month. It will be available on a very wide range of devices, iOS and Android plus Blackberry, so keep an eye on the stores starting 24th April this month!
Talisman was really designed for touch devices and the whole experience is very tuned to that environment. So now you can take that bulky board game in your pocket, wherever you go, and play short and challenging Quests that teach you all the nuances of the game characters. We'll be adding more to the mobile versions soon, but those of you who already have the PC version are in line for six completely new characters in the next few weeks.
Keep an eye on our Talisman Prologue Facebook page for updates and be sure to give us a like! And if you want a Steam version of the full game, go vote for TALISMAN PROLOGUE on Greenlight. We won't be releasing Prologue on its own via Steam, so you'll be voting for the full game experience! Once we get there, we can get busy with the expansions!

@headfirst_dom Just make sure the filling isn't too wet. I always put cornflower in the juice or gravy to help it bind.

this game is awesome! I really enjoy playing it, but im not buying it since its just single player only. Board games are most fun with friends. This would be perfect, to pass around since its turn based. Why isnt this multiplayer again?
The game is single player because it's a simple prologue. If you want the multiplayer edition, you should buy this :

Since there is no forum, I'll post this here. I can no longer update or download Talisman Prologue via the Desura client. I received a message that an update was available for the game, but when I attempt to initiate the update I get the following error message:
Validating Download:
There was an error during the validation process and it has been stopped.
Status: No mirrors are available for the game requested, please try again shortly as the mirrors update connstantly. [38.111]
I've tried several times over the course of the day with no luck. I then deleted the game and tried to reinstall it, but I get the same error message (no mirrors are available). Now I'm unable to play the game. Would appreciate some help from the developer. Thanks.
same issue though my error number is different (52.0)
It's working now.
that it is, though had to uninstall couldnt just update
ok nvm i have the same error number now
It could be cool if you could do something extra with the strange eyes you could collect (forgotted its name) ...
And maybe a new or larger map (not urgent). But for the rest its amazing never tought I would like it so much and with its epic trailer I just can't stop playing it :) .
Just out of curiosity, will a Linux version be forthcoming? I'd love to buy and play this, but I only run Linux~~
Is it possible to upgrade to Premium of does one need to buy the game a second time ? Upgrade from a full non-Premium edition ?
