Talisman Prologue is an adaptation of the classic Fantasy board game Talisman by Games Workshop. This version focuses on single play structure. As the slogan says, this is where the Magical Quest begins. For those unfamiliar with this classic world of fantasy adventure, Talisman is a game like no other – indeed, it is no ordinary game but a fantastic quest in a world of magic and monsters. As you play, a story unfolds from turn to turn: a heroic epic of brave deeds, daring encounters, treasures and magic, of battles won and lost, but always a tale that enthralls!

We have been working hard on mobile versions of the game Talisman. It was always our goal to put this seminal board game in the mobile space and we are starting this month. It will be available on a very wide range of devices, iOS and Android plus Blackberry, so keep an eye on the stores starting 24th April this month!

Talisman was really designed for touch devices and the whole experience is very tuned to that environment. So now you can take that bulky board game in your pocket, wherever you go, and play short and challenging Quests that teach you all the nuances of the game characters. We'll be adding more to the mobile versions soon, but those of you who already have the PC version are in line for six completely new characters in the next few weeks.

Keep an eye on our Talisman Prologue Facebook page for updates and be sure to give us a like! And if you want a Steam version of the full game, go vote for TALISMAN PROLOGUE on Greenlight. We won't be releasing Prologue on its own via Steam, so you'll be voting for the full game experience! Once we get there, we can get busy with the expansions!

Talisman is by far one of the best board games ever developed. My friends and I have been playing it for over 20 years. All of us are delighted to see it come to the pc. As to the comment posted about being an assistant to the die roll, one must bear in mind that it is a board game. When playing against others the experience is truely rewarding as well as challenging, and there comes into its own. Nomad, I firmly believe that multiplayer development will drasticly increase sales and online mp even more so. Please consider in the future also developing the expansion sets from GW as they keep the game fresh and interesting. Thanks to GW for finally licensing the game to pc and a special thanks to the folks at Nomad for all your work. I eargly await further development and can only encourage future progress. Your efforts will be appreciated by many.

We are indeed developing a multiplayer version. Prologue is a step on the way. We are a small developer and Prologue is helping us to complete our dream of delivering a full board game experience. We aim to experiment with different multiplayer modes too, and take the game onto iPad and Android tablets. Please share this information. We need your support!

Excellent adaptation of the original! I remember playing the board game as a kid at a friend's house but never knew the name. Kudos to the devs for a beautiful and fun product.

I really wanted to like this, I would. But those rolls all the time. Apart from now and then choosing which items to pick up and if to reroll, as well as which direction to go, I feel completely controlless. The die choses everything for me, and I feel like a mere assitant of the die, determine those trivial things for it it can not.

But I'll wait for buying it, becaus I want to play it in Multyplayer on-line and with my family with only one PC, just like the board-game.

This game showed up on the Linux 64bit version of Desura. Will we see this game coming to Linux? That would be most excellent.

There's a bug in the Linux version causing non-linux games to show up in the scroller. It's been reported. It's a shame. This game looks interesting.
