A huge mod compilation of some of the best mods, for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl v1.0005. Not looking for any credit since it's not my original work. IF YOU HAVE V1.0006 (STEAM VERSION), YOU HAVE TO DISCARD THE INCLUDED BIN FOLDER IN ORDER FOR THE MOD TO WORK.
It's a mix of Oblivion Lost 2010, Photorealistic Zone, Particle Paradise, Arsenal Mod, gnomus scopes, STALKER Shaders MAX, Dynamic Shaders 1.1, Absolute Nature, Music Expansion, and much more. All of it retweaked for increased, but more balanced difficulty and more realism. Best graphics mod for SoC bar none. The mix of shaders as well as Panoramic Mod just makes for a distinct, perfect look.

NOTE: USING THE COMMAND r2_sun_near_border 1 IS USUALLY NECESSARY FOR THIS MOD.
NOTE 2: I recommend using motion blur. To do so, modify your shortcut that launches SoC (right click, Properties). Add -mblur to the target. In-game, motion blur can be tweaked with the r2_mblur command (e.g., r2_mblur 1 uses the most motion blur possible).
NOTE 3: From edwin11373: "Actually, I found a way to make better. In the ini file, the Sun_near was set to 12. I changed it to 30. The lower the number, the higher the quality of the shadows are BUT the far shadows are blocky until you get near them. So, by making the near shadows less in quality you can lower the drastic transition between high/low qualities of shadows. I don't mind having a bit low-res near shadow just as long there's no awful transition."
NOTE 4: The Stalker Shaders MAX settings application is not fully functional. Don't use it.
OPTIONAL SUNSHAFTS REPLACER. This makes it so dynamic outdoor shadows can only be viewed from certain angles, like sunshafts. This shader implementation comes from OGSE.

Note: I recommend using the 3GB Enabler found on Complete 2009's page. Here's the Readme since it isn't included in that link, and this needs to be at least 300 characters.
Shadow of Chernobyl Mod Pack 2013 is a merge of the following mods:

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Open or unzip the file "sockmode" and drag the gamedata folder to your Shadow of Chernobyl root folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl OR C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl)
- OPTIONAL - > put the bin folder in the same directory
- START A NEW GAME and enjoy
As with any mod, you should save often. I tend to make a separate save for each level, and overwrite it every time I enter that level.

Has Photorealistic Zone 2 instead of the original. Much better texture quality. But BE WARNED, performance is all over the place on my setup (1152p, max detail, GTX 680, i7 2600 @ 4.2 GHz, 8GB RAM). I think this just pushes x-ray to the limit, and the dual core limitation probably hurts a lot too. But if you're feeling brave...

Yes.
Isn't the game 3GB enabled in the patches, or does the enabler need to be run again?
I removed the 3GB exe at one point, so it isn't included here. The reason being, I wasn't sure if the Steam version and retail version have the same exact exe.

Not compatible. Big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods are not meant to be used together, since most of them change a lot of the same things. Complete is good if you're new to gaming and want an easier experience, and also if you can't run Mod Pack 2013 since it's just the most demanding SoC mod out there (in terms of system specs).
Mod Pack 2013 is good for those who want a more challenging experience and a lot of new gameplay features. Complete doesn't add dozens of guns and armor like this one does, nor does it resurrect the old mutants, have vastly improved A-Life, or changing anomaly spawns.

I saw someone else with this error: he forgot to install Part 2.
- EDIT: Also if anyone can report whether or not the AKS-74N mesh is correct, that would be great. If it isn't, I can upload it as a patch.
Installed both parts, re-installed part 2, but I got the same exact error. What am I doing wrong?
Who knows, somehow a texture is missing. What you can do is open your gamedata\textures\fx folder, and copy one of the textures and rename it to "fx_gradient_new".
I tried your solution and I keep getting the same results, I apologize for my ineptitude with modding. I wish I could play this mod, it looks great.
This pack looks awesome. Played it a little, and everything looks perfect (excepted the sun, blatantly "fake" and 2dish). I love the tall grass!
I hope it'll let me play until the end, because now I want to complete SOC with this mod :)

It's all you need and it's fully patched, but it's pretty much unplayable on most/all systems. I think it pushes X-ray engine past its limits.

Seems that this "error" was due to me merging this mod pack with Panoramic Mod 2.1 Final for Oblivion Lost 2.2 2.1.

Yeah this mod pack uses Panoramic Mod v2.1 by default, and grass draw distance is increased by over 8x. You can see some pics here:

Boredgunner, I have installed part 1 and part 2 of the mod but my game freezes at "prefetching objects" when starting a new game, there is no error report and it does not send me to my desktop. When i check task manager it is not responding. Any help with this?

Maybe the grenades from the enemies -not the players-are a bit to strong and effect a very large area.

I used the one at Google Drive, before you uploaded it on ModDB. Is there any difference? I also use this along with PRZ 2 and it works fine. Laggy at some areas, but fine. Thank you for this! I also use the shaders from LURK, they are included as optional in PRZ 2. Is there any problem with that?
If it looks fine for you then there shouldn't be any problems. The difference between the google drive one and the one on moddb is that the one on Drive uses PRZ 2.
Finished it! Got the best ending and all.. But.. Well.. I got a problem. When I go through the last teleport, I spawn in an area full of rads and a controller. I managed to kill the Controller but I died due to rads. So, how do I get out?
I also use the 4GB patch to tweak my .exe, no problems so far.
You've now entered free roam mode. You can go back to the other side of CNPP and leave the way you entered.
But it's radioactive.

Hey,
is it normal that Sidorovich sells the Stalker Suit MK2 at 15K RU (the green one) and the Stalker Suit at 30k RU (the blue one).
+ when you equip the Mk2, stats are better and it looks like blue on the character.
It looks like vanilla item are still here, in addition of mods one.
Am I doing something wrong or is it wanted?

Same for silencers : there's a silencer with a "kit which support all type of guns" and silencers for each calibers.

Same question for silencers : why there should be the vanilla version (which you can attach on a lot of weapons, it not all) and several versions for each caliber?
It sounds more like the mod doesn't erase all the items it should replace.

So it's a pricing error and maybe a mismatched mesh, since they should appear different in 3rd person. Though looking in the files, each one does load a different mesh. I'll upload an alternate one anyway.
As for the silencers, think of the universal one like a bonus. But I didn't go through the lengths to make it rare.

Also, the special HK MP5 in the tunnel full of anomales in the garbage has its inventory icon bugged. There's 2 icons represented (Vanilla Viper + HK Mp5) + it takes 6 squares of room instead of 3.

Something new : the 3rd person skin for the mercenary suit found at apogrom is the same as the simple jacket.
