Extremely Early Sparky Alpha Demo

Hey. So this is my new game that I've started, Sparky. Sparky's a game about speed, momentum, radioactive dogs, and aliens... So... Yeah. Sparky will be a 2D action game in the vein of... I'm not even sure. It'll be about exploring and traversing the alien bases in the game, and destroying aliens in an efficient, quick manner, all while keeping up momentum. Sparky is being made with the Blender Game Engine and should be available on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

Hello.

So, I've finally gotten around to releasing a rough gameplay demo of Sparky. In it, you can run around and see how Sparky controls. If you use the keyboard, you can press X to jump, and C to boost. While boosting, you can run on walls and on water, as well as jump higher and further. Double-tapping C will cause you to do a Dash attack, and with this, you can break breakable objects. Right now, enemies don't do any damage, but you can still get a feel for what the game will be about.
Thanks for reading... And playing! :D

Edit: Found what I think would be a bug, when Sparky is running Ionized and jumps, when the Ionization runs out while he's in the air, he loses the momentum even though that probably wouldn't happen.
So, uh, whatever happened to this? Haven't seen an update in forever.
It's basically put on hiatus. I'd like to come back to it one day, though.

This looks great. I get totally jealous of people like you who can do art, music, and programming all by themselves, I'd love to be that versatile and talented.
I'd like to see more of the enemies you will be fighting, and maybe some very complex puzzles in the next Video/Log/whatever. =)
CANT WAIT!!!!
Something more than videos? Okay, maybe I'll release a demo soon. Just need to get some more features implemented (a few more of Sparky's actions that he can pull off).
EDIT: Okay, I think I might see what you mean. Hopefully I'll have more of the game finished by the next video, or at least can post a new News article about the subject.
Yeah, it would be nice. Have luck with programming....
