The AK-47 is a relatively new, mass-produced mainline rifle in service with the Soviet forces' infantry divisions. The AK-47 represents a triumph in durability and while it is not as precise (in aim or construction) as the Allied M16, round for round the Soviet rifle packs a heavier punch. Without need for meticulous care, this rifle can be fired at one of two rates; the secondary full-auto mode can quickly fire an entire magazine of bullets faster than some weapons can even be reloaded. Continued fire from this rifle is capable of causing significant damage to enemy structures and vehicles given time, although most vehicles' outer armor provides substantial resistance and only internal damage will amount to much.
An AK-47 has been issued to Soviet combat regulars, and features select-fire for two distinct firing rates, although the faster full-auto will see a reduction in accuracy. The primary fire is suitable for attacking most targets, but the quicker attacks will see steeply reduced muzzle velocity and damage versus structures and vehicles. Now make better reload animations. Please, No I am not "trolling". I just don't like the current reload animation where the gun is just lowered and a reload sound effect is played. That takes a lot of nice detail out of such a good game! :) Have a nice day.
