Recruits is a squad based top down shooter. Inspired by games like Cannon Fodder, Alien Swarm and Jagged Alliance Recruits puts players on the front lines of the battlefield to accomplish your missions through any means necessary. Fast paced and packed with explosions, Recruits offers a wide variety of features that allow you, and your friends to take command of the action and lead your men to victory.
As players progress through the game they will gain ranks and respect amongst their fellow soldiers, giving them bonus abilities, unlocked items and perks to better defeat their enemies. The main aim for the player is to complete their missions and gain as many kill points as possible. The higher the rank of the player, the more efficient soldier they are, giving the team a better chance of surviving the missions and ultimately the war.
In each level, players will have to move out, saving POW's and civilians, avoiding traps, searching out and killing Enemy Soldiers, destroying enemy buildings and vehicles in order to safely get extracted from the battlefield.
Recruits is an action packed Top Down Shooter that will deliver you and your friends to the front lines of brutal combat situations.

New Forums! - FORUMS
We have upgraded our forums in preparation for our multiplayer and auto updater release!
So it would be great if you love getting involved in the development of game to head on over and really put your 2 cents in and tell us what we are doing wrong, and doing right!
As a forum member and viewer, you will have available to you:
- The latest updates of the game once we release our auto updater!
- Speak one on one with the developers
- Insight into how we make this game you all love so much
- Support and problem solving if you have any
- The ability to add your ideas and opinions into the game
- Support the game and really make it better to play for everyone
We will later on also provide special forum access to members who support the game further and who are dedicated to helping the development by being that extra bit active on the forums. So its worth getting involved! You help us out, we give you cool stuff and free games and extra special goodies. Stuff like that!
So its still early days, but get in quick and have fun! This is a new things for us and we can't wait to see how it all pans out!Â

I bought this game some days ago and it's great, it's super fun and addictive and for just being in alpha im gonna say its really impressiv. I can't wait to see what the geniuses of this game comes up with next. Great work.
Thank you very much! We have loads of great stuff on the way, its been a bit slow update wise around here (i'll be posting soon about this) but its because we are doing lots of back end work, not much to show visually. Updates will be back soon! Don't worry! :)
Recruits is a great game. I feel the Cannon Fodder gameplay. & That's really good. :o)

Yep! We are still here. Sorry for the lack of updates on here, but yes we are working on Multiplayer at the moment, so mot much *new* content. I'll do an update letting everyone know our plan, but expect to see some optimization updates soon and then once its all ready... MULTIPLAYER!
Impressive engine quality, but an easy option would be welcome. Promising!

Will the OST be available outside IGS? Unfortunately I forgot their system won't let me up my purchase and I'd love to get the soundtrack and support you guys more.
