Description

This is a Copper-based mod which requires QuakeSpasm-Spiked (QSS) to run; it won't work properly or at all on any other source port, including Ironwail or regular QuakeSpasm. This mod borrows several elements from both Arcane Dimensions and TribalFX, specifically visual and audio improvements, but it's basically Copper Quake with my own personal tweaks; all changes introduced by the original Copper mod are largely untouched, with some exceptions. One notable example of this is a reduction in ammo capacity, namely shells and grenades/rockets, as I've always felt that carrying loads of ammunition is nothing but a detriment to the game's difficulty. Also, in keeping the experience as close as possible to classic Quake, this mod doesn't incorporate any custom, new or enhanced models for monsters; it does however feature better models for powerups and keys, weapons and armor.
