Journey into the gritty and not particularly pleasant world of Max Payne. This third person action game features a strong storyline and an altogether interesting antihero. Max Payne is a gritty journey to the present day New York City during the worst winter blizzard in a century. The thriller pulp story keeps the players guessing right on till the end. The game shoots from the lowest slum pits to the greatest skyscraper heights, leaving behind a trail of corpses, splatters of blood, and empty brass rolling on the floor.
Well, this started as a contest to see if I could make something in a week, but I decided to release it and waste your bandwidth downloading it. It is a bar where you, well, kill people. Once you see the third cutscene, the level is over, do don't go searching around for more secrets after that. I hope you hate it as much as I did making it! New Features; The lead pipe is replaced with a bar stool, even though the hud will tell you otherwise. Credits; Serious Sam made the pool balls and he made the death counter for me (because I'm lazy) Endo made the barstool, a last minute addition. Ildu gave me suggestions. Since everything has pretty much gone dead on this mod, it's been decided that it will be released as a sort of devpack/alpha release. There's a few VR maps(one a bit rough on the edges) and weapons. Not really much to get excited over, but worth a look. Even with all that said, this build isn't even half of what it was going to be. It's about a 1/3 of the workload. Furthermore, the mpm might contain some interesting things for the MP1 modders, if there are any left. Yeah, so it's pretty much an sdk, but lots of the stuff in here is playable too.
