Journey into the gritty and not particularly pleasant world of Max Payne. This third person action game features a strong storyline and an altogether interesting antihero. Max Payne is a gritty journey to the present day New York City during the worst winter blizzard in a century. The thriller pulp story keeps the players guessing right on till the end. The game shoots from the lowest slum pits to the greatest skyscraper heights, leaving behind a trail of corpses, splatters of blood, and empty brass rolling on the floor.

Description

A 70's style home. It is unfinished and contains only nine enemies, but I attempted to make it entertaining. Hint: The door at the end of the first hallway works best if you dive into it slow-motion style, otherwise it will just fall forward. Also, it is possible to block the door by the bar with the chair, but chairs don't stop angry mercs. To Play: Unzip to your Max Payne directory, then select max70.mpm in the custom mods box and finally click on 70's Style Home in the Main Menu. This is my first attempt at a Max level, and I want to know more. If anyone out there knows how to do some convincing water effects I would appreciate an e-mail. The same goes for more convincing enemy AI, and more detailed camera manipulation. (Attaching it to a dying enemy and so on) In fact, send me an e-mail with any sugestions or comments.
