The galaxy is trapped in an endless cycle of extinction. Every 50,000 years an ancient machine race invades and with ruthless efficiency wipes out all advanced organic civilization. They leave behind only the scattered ruins of technology, destroying all evidence of their own existence.

This can be used in combination with any texture packs or add-ons.
To make adjustments to ENB, alter the enbseries.ini configuration settings file, found in the main folder.
To make adjustments to Sweetfx, go to \SweetFX\Presets and alter the Mass Effect 1 settings.txt file.
The default settings file is located in the main folder, SweetFX_settings.txt. However, it is not used for the settings as the SweetFX_preset.txt file is directing it to the presets folder (alter to match, if you make change to location or name of settings file).

Alter ENB and SweetFX settings as you like.
Full ENB Download available here:

Full Sweetfx Download available here:

If you experience issues with the D3D9 an alternate can be found in the Altd3d9 folder included in the download.

I hope you find these programs and adjustments helpful at making your Mass Effect 1 game more enjoyable.

I forced AO and multisample AA thru Nvidia CP but AO seems to cause a flicker effect (fast change from light to dark) in certain cutscenes (like the conversation between Nihlus, Shep, and Anderson before getting to Eden Prime.) It's not a big deal but is kind of distracting. Any idea how to remedy this?

If you are using Dynamic Shadows this can sometimes cause flickers, disable that if it is enabled. I've never actually used Ambient Occlusion, I normally leave it off. I'll try enabling it to see if I can replicate the issue. I'll get back to you on this.

Thanks! This is a great mod, btw. Really makes the game look great, coupled with the MEUITM.
