Balance patch for version 2.01. A changelog is included. 2.01 not required.
Impossible Creatures is an RTS developed by Relic Entertainment. Its story is set in the 1930s on a fictional chain of islands. The player takes control of Rex Chance, a man in search for his long lost father and encounters the mysterious sigma technology. Sigma takes the DNA of 2 animals and lets you combine them into something new. Rex uses these new Creatures to fight the evil tyrant, Upton Julius, who murdered his father. During his missions he can obtain the DNA of up to 51 creatures. Impossible Creatures also allows you to create your own armies of 9 combined creatures outside the campaign. These can be used to fight skirmishes with AI or wreck havoc online. An additional 10 animals which are not in the campaign are available here. In addition, there is also the official, free, Insect Invasion modification, which adds another 15 creatures and many new abilities.
Fellow fans of Creature Chaos.
Again it is time for a prerelease update, namely for the last one. Progress on Creature Chaos 7.0 is well under way and I strive to have it released within at most a month. The campaign is nearly finished and all 3 creatures have been completed. However there is a lot of minor things left to do, for example fixing the whole cut-off texts issue, which is not as easy as it might seem. Either way, here's the last of the three stock creatures, the Grasshopper:
I'm sure all of you have seen Grasshoppers before. Their powerful legs make them agile little things, enabling them to leap onto enemies from short distances. As if that weren't enough, they've also got a pair of wings, enabling them to fly short distance. They're also incredibly hard to spot, with their skin being adapted to their surroundings.
At this point, again, I'd like to state that I shall be gone until sunday, thus will not be able to continue work on CC or be available on the forums. On another note, Doggie might release a small balance patch, fixing the more pressing issues of previous CC versions. This would only be announced on our forums.
