Lance Gauntlet Single Player Map Dereliction. Lance mod by Kantham and Burned. Map design is mine. Instructions: Place both files in your custommaps folder located here; Documents>MyGames>Gears of War for Windows>WarGame>Published>CookedPC>maps>custom maps To Run the game; When in the GOW Main Menu, open the console with the tilde(~) key and type: open lge_dereliction *If the 'maps' and 'custom maps' folders are not there, create them. If you already have the Lance Gauntlet file it's ok to overwrite it with this one. I don't mind if this map is used for other mods. Feel free to use it.

hello Outlaw, how are things? Disappointed in the new Gears title being unmoddable like I am?
Your map making skill improved significantly but still, that thumbnail is a little misleading. I will give you a 9/10 anyway.
Things are good man. I'm extremely disappointed with having no editor for UE. And thanks for the high rating. In comparison to so many of the other great maps that are already out there, that's quite a compliment. I'll change the screenshot when I get home. Any suggestion on which room gives the best idea of what the map looks like?
I gave you extra points for not giving up at this game after all this time, but your skills did improve. No offense but your first map library was bad. The main room were enemies with shield spawn is the best representation, in that place there is a design flaw from lack of cover in the center that forces them to crouch and have a way to defend themselves, bots are standing up and sticking out like sore thumbs .
I think this screenshot the lightning looks better than in game, that was my issue so not really necessary to change picture because it could be different pc settings.
Gotcha. My settings are all on default. I noticed that things look different depending on the monitor and its settings as well. I actually was creating an SP version of this map which is why I left that room empty. In case I release it one day( if I get time to finish it) I don't want to spoil what takes place there. Not that there's really anyone to spoil it too anymore anyway lol. As for the guardians, I always look for frags to throw at them or a lancer to chainsaw them with, so I guess I didn't notice spawning them there made them more difficult. I always found them to be difficult anyway I guess.. But I hope it was fun to play regardless.
Spawning enemies there actually makes them more easy to kill, lol, but guardians dont stay put which makes them a little harder. Anyways, it was fun regardless.
Im curious on why you decided the floor to have water instead of imulsion which has better textures for night maps.
I originally had it that way but it looked too bright when I tried it. Maybe my monitor settings are messed up. I wanted the map to feel cold, so I remember thinking the water might help that. I also have water on the floors. It was supposed to look like some of the pipes are leaking so I had just changed my mindset to water all around I guess. Definitely thought about immulsion though
Hey, thanks for the new addon, hope more will come.I like Goldrush, Jacinto and Ruins more but i will give you 9/10 too. Great that Gow is still alive.
