Good news everyone! This week I've released a demo of the Lockpicking mini-game in Bloodhunt. You can download it from the downloads section. It's, of course, free and super-easy to install: just unrar the file, open bloodhunt.swf and that's it. Use your mouse to control the lockpick and the screwdiver and don't forget to click to roll the dice. With all your feedback and comments, I'll update the mini-game in the following demo release, which will probably be in a month or so.

So glad to see that you are working on this again! hey if you need some inspiration with pixel art check out SUPERBROTHERS art! and if you have an ipad/ipod you should play sword & sworcery.. this type of simple pixel art can work and be quite beautiful too.. i personally am tempted to copy superbrothers style of pixel art but i would feel like a failure.. good luck!

You're totally right. Superbrothers FTW! I'm following sword & sworcery from its beginnings, but shamefully I have no ipad/iphone to play it. Thanks for the comment :D

Yeah i had been following s&sw from the beginning too and thought i wouldn't get to play it either.. but my girlfriend bought an ipad so i got a chance to play it and really enjoyed it. I really wish they would release it on other platforms as well.. seems kinda a dumb move since the whole "touch: the screen".. could work just as well with a controller in my opinion for s&sw.

Again really looking forward to seeing progress of DungeonQuest! Maybe this can help for sfx.. Bfxr.net

Thanks a lot, earvesicle. I really appreciate your support. I'll work my *** off to make DungeonQuest living to the expectations.

And by the way, Bfxr is awesome! I'll be playing with it for the rest of my life :D

Hey, I like the style of it. If you need some help with the pixelart from time to time (you mentioned that it takes longer than you thought) then I would like to help!

Maybe you saw the earlier version of the game: PixelDungeon. It was kind of an unfinished prototype. But I don't remember uploading it to indieDB... Anyways, thanks for your interest! I'll try to update often ;)
