Sonic Nebulous is a fan-game based on the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM TV series and includes elements from the original Sonic the Hedgehog games and comics. I have released a few previous versions demonstrating its progress and capabilities. Throughout its development, I will continue to post updates. Sonic Nebulous v3.

A playable Knuckles and new stage(Dark Swamp Act 2) are a couple of new additions featured in version 3.0. The camera mode has also been tweaked to hold a solid resolution allowing the game to maintain solid visuals. Cream has gained the ability to use Cheese in ground attacks and can also drift by use of her large ears.

Due to problems with the special stage, I've had to rework some of the main code, but all seems well now. I've made plenty of progress since originally releasing this version September 1st and can surely say that version 4.0 will follow very soon.

There will likely be glitches still needing to be fixed. As they are discovered, I will correct them and then I will update the files.

Just a couple of other things, when in the first post i said i beat the pyramid level i mean i did it without pressing the button which had to be pressed to open the door. And now that i discovered that the rings allowed special attacks i wouldnt say any of the characters are incomplete. Picking rings up is horrible though

Also, smoking knuckles ROCKS, except you can do the entire plane section by that, smoking

Thanks for the comments, Pereza0 :)

I'll add in the character specials info with the next update along with fixing some of these other issues. I'll also elaborate more on the story.

Im impressed by the quality of this game, i love how different your version of a sonic game is from every one else. Dark and gritty. The movement is soo smooth

However, the character roster is too big and not all of the characters work or look right. I would limit the singleplayer roster to those characters that are really finished and allow the others to be played in other modes. Thats only my opinion though but theres a pretty important gameplay issue i found.

Playing as sonic for example (or some other similar characters) if you first jump and then almost instantaneously make a dash aimed towards the sky, a huge jump is made that sometimes allows you to exit the stage.

I was able to get through the egyptian like level with Knuckle's statues in less than 20 seconds and no more than 4 jumps that way.

Also, it is very easy to escape bosses lairs by doing this

Oh yes, and it also be nice to have the storyline flesed out.

I might criticise a lot, but i do it because i love the game and id like to see it develop to its full potential

Also your representation of Shadow is the best I have seen in any game so far. Took me a while to realize that the rings were necessary for the spacial attack. Guess is what happenes with other characters too. Ill check it out

Will you be including such charecters as Wolf Team (The bounty hunters who join the freedom fighters. From comic.) And team Choatix, etc ?

And on another note, did you do all the spriting for this ?

Its impressive

Thanks! Yes, I sprited all of the characters. The choatix team is included in the roster and other characters may be used later in a possible sequel.

I noticed its kinda hard to retrieve your lost coins. You should make it easier to be able to grab your coins back. Also... sometimes you have no idea where you're suppose to go, like in the Air balloons level in the Sky. I kinda got lost for awhile and finally gave up after falling to my death too many times. I like how you can go to the next level if you cant beat the current one. I really like that!! And where are the cut scenes? I thought the cut scenes were gonna start at the beginning of the game. that would be cool if they did, though.

Some elements were removed from version 4.0 such as cut-scenes do to a lack of resources. I will try to fix these glitches and then I will update the file.
