What happens when DLC practices go too far? An indie developer makes a game that mocks the industry and its foibles, that's what! Defeat the bad guy, save the world and get the girl! But first you'll need to find coins to buy DLC to enable animation, sound and even pausing.
Thankfully this is just satire and all the DLC is purchased with in-game coins. But consider it a cautionary tale for the future...
Features:
- Platforming action! Coins to collect, a princess to save, a bad guy to defeat. You like that stuff, right?
- 16 different DLC packs, each providing quiet introspection on the state of the gaming industry
- 10 awardments to earn and make you feel reasonably satisfied with yourself

New bonus campaign added!
Experience "Live Freemium or Die!", the brand new campaign offering a new world to explore and a new enemy to defeat! And of course, new awardments and new DLC packs too!
Features:
- Brand new full length campaign
- 17 more DLC packs to collect
- 10 more awardments to earn
- New speedrun timer and post-game statistic
Download the update through the Desura or grab one of the newly updated standalone installers.
Happy questing!

Short, but very enjoyable and worth what you're paying for.

At that price I though it would be longer than what we can find for free on the internet ... Very linear and the jokes are easy.
Check online for "achievement complete" & "upgrade complete"
More interesting than that imho.

@_Aenoa Maybe you weren't serious, but I could work in some source code talk. What's interesting/presentable though? Line count? Structure?

So say you're going to a conference to hear an indie dev talk about his successes and failures. What do you hope he covers?

@JoshDJX Ugh, that's annoying. I'd never make a claim - YouTubers are the best! I hope everything works out for you!

@alfiesole Nothing wrong with learning Java first really. I did that at school. Easy to pick up C# later if you want.

I love this game!!
Will us Desura buyers get a Steam key?
NO, watch out this side under the "BUY"-option:
Goingloudstudios.com
That doesn't really answer the question of whether people who bought the Desura version before the Steam version even existed will get a key, only what future buyers will get.
Also, amazing game. The original campaign alone has tons of replay value and is hilarious. I'm yet to try out the 'Freemium or Die' expansion but I just hope for something equally as good.
I know that you posted this awhile back, in response to spookybro's comment, but this game is easily an hour long if yo udo everything to perfection with tons of replay value on the original alone. I got 3 hours of genuien entertainment out of this game. It's a spoof but it's done well.
