Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

That's a pretty good model! Good looking and believable. Do you add custom animations or will you use HL-standards ? Because this deserves custom animation. Could the model talk (mouth bone)? And I always thought it adds a lot if the model blinks from time to time ;-)

Simply just awesome.
Simply superb. The texture work is outstanding. I was hoping for some media recently, but this is just incredible. I wonder if my aging computer will cope with this mod!
There is only one area that caught my eye in the way of possible improvement and that is the hair. Specifically, the bottom of the hair at the back of the head looks like their is a 'u' shape in the texture work, possibly as a result of too much burn used to give the impression of the hood through the hair. Could do with being backed off a little, but it's a small problem.
I also would have given a little fringe to the hair model at the front too, but again, it's such a small thing and only a matter of opinion.

Gorgeous model! It's always nice to see somebody make a female character who is both very attractive AND realistic, opposed of having the player's entire female portion of his inner circle be supermodels who look like they must have a string somewhere on them that one tug on it would cause them to fall completely apart.

I'm fairly sure that the team has said that there will not be coop in CoF. To be honest, coop in 'serious' mods for half-life don't really work very well. Resident Evil: Cold Blood was pretty good, but for the most part, half-life coop is better suited to lighthearted mods like Sven.
I'm not saying that coop isn't fun, just not in HL in horror mods.
