I'd like o play the game but for some reason it does this awful sound and lags a bunch for no good reason. Or maybe there is a good reason but I don't know it
I haven't been able to replicate this, best bet would be to try the original Portable release, which you can find here: Moddb.com
Only down side with original portable is that the horizontal mouse look locks up after a while.

Sadly I haven't been able to find a way. It seems DOSBox Staging has some of it's own quirks, I've personally gone back to using the standard Portable release. :(

Just one question: is there any way to configure DOSBox to get a full widescreen resolution? It's almost there, but there are those slightly annoying black bars on the side too.
