Bad Fur Day Remake is back with a new engine, new ideas and new graphics. Bad Fur Day Remake has migrated from "Torque Game Engine 1.5.2" to the new "Torque 3D" engine (Binary). This exciting change for BFDR has resulted in numerous advantages and well as some disadvantages.
Bad Fur Day Remake was originally going to be an exact remake of the classic N64 game with the exception of the port from the Nintendo 64 to the PC; but times have changed. The engine change was intentional to allow new and improved graphics. Does this mean that it will look different from the original Conker's Bad Fur Day game? The answer is yes and no; the graphics are being updated or upgraded as seen from the image on the side but the overall style will be the same. The only difference's you'll notice will be the improved visuals, the game play will be the same (Exception of N64 to PC).
We're currently looking for someone to create new audio for BFDR. We are also looking for Texture Artists to create textures for the new 3D model unwraps and recreate the textures from Conker's Bad Fur Day.
"I want to help out but I can't commit to working long term on the project?" No time, no worries. We have a section on the Packers Remakes Forums called Community Submission that will contain a list of textures, files and audio that will be needed. Community members can jump on the forums, find audio files or textures that need doing and repost their finished work back onto the forums to later get implemented into the game. This will help reduce the work load for anyone working on BFDR and allow the community to help create Bad Fur Day Remake without any long term commitment.

Just for those who are wondering, I have been very busy with Zelda World but don't worry as I'm actually still designing elements for BFDR and even modelling every now and then for it. Once I get sick of ZW or get it to a certain state I'll be releasing a Team Deathmatch for BFDR asap.
Omg, I can't wait to play that thing! In germany we never got this, but with an emulator I had the possibility to paly it, and it was awesome! Enjoyed the game from the first minute on till the end. Pls hurry up with developing, I just have no patience to pop this son of a bitch in and kick some teddy's *****!
Awesome, first Zelda and now conker, my favorite N64 games!, can you please make a quick video of BFDR like you did with Zelda, thx.
tracking! never played this back in the day.
Tell me, are you going to keep this remake as a platformer-cross-shooter like the original, or make it more like a shooter?
I liked the fact that you could only do certain things (jump) without a gun, I think it balanced the game somewhat.
At the moment you can run around and jump with weapons but you loose a lot of accuracy, however in the future when we may test some of the old game components (That aren't implemented) in BFDR to see if they still work in a First/Third Person View game. You just need to understand that going from a controller to a Keyboard mouse is a big difference and adjustments NEED to be made or you get a lot of serious unbalancements.
To some peoples pleasure, the revolver will be beefed down.
Maybe after the main development has finished you could add in a Zombie mode for multiplayer...Zombies were in the campaign so it would be interesting to see them in a gametype.
I've got a lot of plans for BFDR including a zombie game mode but the real main focus for the time being is just getting a playable base game out from which we can work on newer things.
hey good to see this is still alive
i want to help some how but, i don't know that much about what your doing.
im willing to learn though
looks great, bring out a demo
