A 2D sidescroller without a linear path. An action game with tactical combat and strategic planning. An adventure game that lets you free-roam a vast, procedurally-generated world. A Valley Without Wind defies genre stereotypes. Unlike other procedurally-generated games, you also get a logical progression in difficulty, plus helpful tips and checklists to guide your travels (should you need them).

Complete a variety of missions to earn arcane rewards, or roam the wilds to uncover secret missions and stashes of magical loot. Customize your characters with unique combinations of enchants and spells that change how you move, jump, and fight. Or rescue people and bring them back to your settlement, recruiting them to help you in return.
You choose how to play, and the world adapts around you.

What a busy month it's been! (Alright, year.) Upcoming Game reveals aside, we have several new developments to share during this week alone:
Steam Sale: Entire Arcen Catalog 75% Off
Steam's put the whole lot on sale this time, and I mean everything. For the next week, you'll find the entire Arcen library slashed down to very low prices. Sale ends April 22nd.
IndieFort Spring Bundle
Looking for something a little less Arcen-centric? AI War is in the latest deeply discounted GamersGate bundle, teamed with Sanctum, Zigfrak, Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader, and Underrail (currently in alpha). The offer is available now through April 21st, and will add bonus content as such as AI War and Sanctum DLC if specific sales milestones are reached.
Full Indie Summit
I'll be spewing my nonsense at the Full Indie Summit in Vancouver, BC this Saturday (April 20th). More specifically, I'll be giving a talk on indie game marketing plans. If you're local to the area and are interested in checking it out, definitely stop by and make sure to say hello. The event goes from 10 AM - 4 PM, and admittance is dirt cheap ($10 Canadian) -- plus I hear there's a mixer or two going on afterwards. Should be good fun!

So, have the first game on Desura, there's a lot of press about getting the second one free but I can't even see it on the Desura store. Where'd A Valley Without Wind 2 go?

Ok if the developers accept this-for those who want to try the game here is a GET ME NOW ticket,basically,

Guys, at this point we're not expecting perfection, can we please just try the beta? It's going to have issues, we know, it's a beta. Holding off on releasing it for longer will only make people less interested.
I hope we see that AVWW2 beta soon, it's basically my highlight of the month.

This is the best game I've ever played yet! Keep up the Great work! I recommend this to any people who might like crafting, adventure and fighting games! It has all 3 since I've played get it now! 8-D
