BSG: BtRL is an open source, space flight simulator powered by the enhanced FS2: Source Code Project engine.
This standalone game is set in Ron D. Moore's Re-imagined Battlestar Galactica universe.

MAIN CAMPAIGN PRIMER:

When humanity is suddenly on the verge of extinction, you, like all others in the Twelve Colonies, must fight for survival in the midst of genocide. The Cylons have returned after forty years to lay waste to their creators, and in a heartbeat, all that you know is either dead or dying.

Your skills as a pilot will guide you in choosing a singular path: one knotted with chaos and intrigue, or another, besieged by disasters and in search of temporary reprieve. Hard decisions will pave the way to an outcome unfathomable to most, but also known... because it has all happened before.

When all hell breaks loose, where do you stand?

Coding (by "Swifty") helps BtRL put things into perspective... Let the senses guide you--not the Force.

2) "Conspiracy Pack" by newman

Props for one of our fast-acting modelers, newman. You (rightfully) put some of us to shame.

No fire for the frakked... but the remnants of the Black Market look glorious from the outside.

The sturdy, civvy sixpack. When used properly, it becomes more than mere fleet fodder.

Props for another of our fast-acting modelers, Wildcard. You helped save our collective asses.

Open AL is video program that is required to run Btrl correctly. Just install the program before you start running Btrl. You can get the latest version Open AL here: Fs2source.warpcore.org
Hope this helps.

You getting the error, if you are, you have to run the Open AL installing in the BTRL folder. I think it's called "Run Me First".

Amazing work!
All I wish would be in demo is some combat-ready capital ships (might be not Battlestar itself, but something big with gunz).... not only fighter combat. Still - it looks great, gives a lot of fun, can't wait for updates!
