Starcraft 2? Thread

Yeah I just picked up the latest copy of PC Gamer magazine and found out that on a gonegold.com someone posted that he had seen a poster for Starcraft 2 and the poster was stating that it would be released by the end of this year and would be selling for $100.00 a pop I kinda find this hard to believe but to get as much publicity as it is getting... I dunno Well anyway if it is true it better be one hell of a game if I have to pay 100 bucks for it, but if anyone could do it Blizzard could.

yeah well a Blizzard official or whatever commented on this and said quote "its a rumor." but you never know they may just be saying that to keep us on our toes. I just thought it was interesting, I hope its real though.

The sad thing is that I probily would dish out 100 for SC2. :o

That'd be StarCraft: Ghost, an action-consoler, third-person. Not at all anything of which the real SC2 would be. Think of it as the same as C&C: Renegade.

Those 3d games don't have the atmosphere of their older strategy brothers.. There's a fpp Warcraft coming soon too.
Never played Starcraft Ghost, but saw the screenshots, and they looked pretty cool.. shame it isn't released on PC's.

yeah are you talking about Worl of Warcraft it is a MMO and it is an RPG but you can have it in first or third person... yeah WoW look awesome

Of blizzard anounces Star Craft II at the end of this year, then it will be ready for about 2007.

Yeah, it would be like, awesomeness cubed.

But Ghost is sure to be better than Renegade... Blizzard doesn't make crap.

I don't see why Blizzard is doing WOW and SC:G when they could just make SC2 and make $999999999... if they had released SC2 a few years ago, when there were still a million people playing SC, it would have been a huge seller. Now, everyone's getting tired of the SC universe because everyone's replayed SC 12 times.

And the thing in PCG was a rumor. They just wanted to put StarCraft 2 on the cover.
