Solstice is set on a world not much different than our own. The vast kingdom, in which this takes place, only knows those countries on their direct borders, however, the level of technolodgy is beyond our own. It is a mix of Sci-fi, fantasy, imperial era and the Great War. In brief, you are Sorrel von Schrover, heir to the throne of Teutonburg. Ten years previous, your country was taken over by a band of revolutionaries disguised as refugees. They murdered your father, put you and your mother to work in the factorys, and treat the Teutonburgers no better than slaves. The game will be very teamwork oriented, as you will lead a team of special forces into combat.

Well, I promised a December update, and here it is, just a couple hours past December.
First off, we've had our site redesigned, including new forums(Mmm-mm! Smell that new forum smell!). A little less importantly, I have some new media for you.
Most of it's just concept art, but we've got a pistol render, too--it hasn't been normal mapped or textured yet, but it gives you an idea of what to expect.
I hope these meager offerings are enough to tide you guys over until we can get something bigger together...hopefully (but don't hold me to this) in January.

Alrighty, news + media in december, I promise. You have my official promise now. Wait, no! Damn it, I already gave it... Well, I guess December heralds new media for you louts.
Yeah, about that... I've pretty much been doing everything myself thus far so... Slow goings. I'm hoping to speed stuff up though, you guys can expect an update soon with many more to follow.

i saw the mod name and thought it was goin to be a remake of the game solstice for nes. on another note, 10% done since 2004!?, not looking too good.

Lol, that is hilarious, but as I said, the guy with the riot shield and shock batton is on the same side as the bumb, so it won't be all bumb-with-gun killing. Damn, I have to keep that quote, it's too hilarious!
I think this mod sounds pretty darn cool, but man that last comment was funny.
The "most common enemy" looks like a bum with a gun.
