I posted that in the bar. Fix the images.

Don't really know how to feel about it. It sounds cool, but I don't know how the game will end up like....

EDIT: Here's a trailer showing footage. It shows gameplay, but not from either Darth Vader or Yoda, unfortunately.

I love Star Wars and I've always enjoyed the Soul Calibre games but this is like selling out or something. Its like "buy the new Zelda game... it has LOTR characters available too".

In none of the screenshots does Yoda show any form of emotion, or rather presence of muscles in his face. It's eerie.

Bah! SoulCalibur isn't some deep and meaningful narrative on the human condition! It's larger-than-life stereotypes hitting each other with big silly swords and sticks! Thus, the Star Wars characters are a perfect fit for a cameo role :)

Star Wars charaters in Soul Caliber style game? Yes!

Star Wars characters in actual Soul Caliber game? Fuck! No.

It seems far too silly, distanced from the style of the content and just generally wierd.

That's what they said about having Link in the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur II, but he was the most critically-acclaimed character and also led to helping it achieve much higher sales figures than it would have had otherwise.

I hated Link in Soul Caliber 2, but at least that was a fantasy character, rather than ripped straight out of an even more irrelevant sci-fi franchise.

Also, last time is checked, swords can't block lightsabers right? What's up with that?

In the Star Wars universe, certain materials are particularily resistant to lightsaber beams.

In the Star Wars universe, plot holes run rampant. So it isn't an issue.

A winrar is you!

Besides, I didn't see too many complaints when Spawn showed up in the Xbox 1 version of Soul Calibur II (well, aside from the fact that he wasn't very good, but that's beside the point).
