Just a heads up that Softimage has just released version 7.5 of Mod Tool, with quite a few nice enhancements over the previous version.

It's a supported OS. I run it on Vista at home, and it seems to work better / without the odd graphical issues when trying to select.
Ultimapper has been bumped up to a new max limit of 2048x2048 and doesn't have the watermark. At a quick glance, it also looks like it supports more than just hardware rendering this time around as well, perhaps even with compositing/FX Tree (albeit it with watermarks). So there's far fewer limits this time around : )

Give them a personal number or a fake one.

I´m a noob with it, but you mean that now i can export my model´s skin up to 2048x2048? before (with 6.01) the limit was 512x512

Before if you wanted to use Rendermap or Ultimapper to bake any maps (ambient occlusion, normal map, texture transfers), it was capped so that the max size you could render to was 512x512. But now it looks like they have raised the limit so that you can render maps to 2048x2048.

You can download 7.5 from ModDB now. No need to fill out a form. :)

Nope. Unless you install Legacy Netview and use the converter on that (which is a few steps back in quality I'm afraid).
