Just finished a new Plasma pistol :D The final poly is 667 :D Perfect for Q3 or something similar.

it really nice but i think you used too many polys,....i don't see many curves so i can't se how you could have used so many polys,....could you show some other angles or a wireframe?.....

Get rid of one poly, and your little devil/demon guy can have a gun custom made for him...

But seriously, nice job. I dunno why, but for some reason that bulky look really fits the gun well.

I don't know. I think I might unwrap it tommorow. But I really suck at photoshop, so don't know if I'll be able to do anything texture wise, well anything other then a blob :P

Hehe, practice at Photoshop and you'll get better. Fiddle and you'll learn how to make different effects. ;)

Really nice model. It suits a whole sci-fi theme very well.

Looks very nice! I think it looks more like a small rifle than a pistol... some pistol/rifle hybrid. I'm going to make a plasma pistol someday too...

Thx alot guys. I'm gonna try and make a set of guns to go with it :) The only problem with the amount of polys is that Blender use's quads and Milkshape use's tris. So when imported to MS the poly raises to about 1100 :(

It's quite a good model, but the barrel might want a little smoothing :)
I'd like to see it with a nice Q3 style skin :)

It's currently being exported to q3 :D The skin is still in the works. But it is playable as it is right now.

That sounds a bit more resonable, i thought it was a bit detailed for a 667 polied weapon :D

Milkshape is made for games, so quad support would be pointless unless all games changed to quads (They shouldn't, tris are better :P)
