Mount and Blade Warband Modern military/ Navy mod Thread

Would this be a good mod/possible? I haave been looking for both type of mods on the game but have found none. Would they be possible to make or are they here somewhere?

The Reckoning is a modern zombie survival mod you can play and try out right now, but it is very early and hasn't been updated in a long time.

Full Invasion 2 also has a few modern faction which we plan to improve in the coming updates for the module.

To make a truly modern warfare mod you will need to have mechanized forces in it. In a game like M&B in where the standard gameplay scheme never goes beyond the Napoleonic Wars it would be a truly herculean task IMHO. So you would need lots of people and lots of creative code to get those T-72M1s there, for example.

Take a look at The Great War total conversion mod for Total War: Napoleon grand strategy game. They managed to completly change the game from 1805 to 1918 but it took them a few years and a large, dedicated team and still it has a lot of hacks like the tanks being a horse artillery unit with invisible and invincible crew and the gas attacks being standard HE shells with epic range & bonus unit confusion effects. I would say in M&B you can go as far as to the war theater of the Russian Civil War and beyond that it would require perhaps a too much work.

The market is so saturated with Modern Military games both from AAA and Indie developers. Make it unique in some way, or better yet, focus on a war that north america was in no way involved. Like look at Africa, there is so many human rights violations and wars/genocides going on down there. You could both teach, terrify and still have a modern military esc game.

That or you can have a super simple game were you play as Kim Jong Un trying to get support from the US, SK and China. You have to make threats, shows of power and occasionally attacks to receive food and electricity so your ppl can survive. But if you do it too much NK will be decimated.
