The Majorwolf Flight engine is a SDK/Source code kit that lets you develop 2d space wars or plane shooting games. It is coded for Game Maker 8 and is coded from the ground up, no code resources were used, it was coded from nothing, except the GM8 Engine.

Hello everybody, we are developing an Engine/source code package for GM8 which will let beginner coders create 2d shooters/ space battle games. It is a very simple code package which features the following:

Simple AI (Planes spawn but do not yet shoot)
Player Spawn (The player currently has one life, once he's dead, he will not respawn)
Enemy/AI planes/objects will be unlimited (They will each disappear at the end of screen to reduce memory storage).
Infinite ammo/Rapidfire - The bullets do not have firing intervals, so you can shoot continously.

Apart from a few flaws, the engine is very smooth and has a nice layout. We are still touching up some glitches etc and then we should hopefully have a beta soon.

This is a GDK/source package for GM8. Also I will be working on much more features. It won't be a game, but that's the only pictures we have at the minute.

The project files and kit for the engine will be released. You will be able to add code, change code etc. A very simple package. I'm adding some finishing touches to the current version, as it progresses I shall post more news. Also I will have the graphics changed when I can.

why not to the front page, I for one am very interested in this engine because i want to make a arcade like top down shooter flying game. therefore i will track this engine from now on.

keep up the great work and i hope you will implement many more futures in the engine as that it now has.

and the screen shows of course a image of what is made with the engine, a engine you canĀ“t show in a screen, or it would be the code in text.
