its retro and aims to have a cohesive design style that does not visually or stylistically break the 'forth wall' of the 1996(ish) era of gaming.
many 90's game mods have overamped visual effects that we feel have no place in the the world of nineties gaming. often visually jarring...
The endeavour here is to create a new gaming experience for the player but with an aura of nostalgia that satisfies the veteran gamers the modding community was founded on.
In the end the OSJC creates mods that we wish to play ourselves. it starts with a idea, becomes a vision. gets a design specification. and the work begins.
