Rather than having the refinement of Snarboo's randomizers or the OTT lunacy of AEoD, this mod lies somewhere in the middle. It randomizes weapons and monsters. Everything featured in this mod has been done in the Doom style. It also randomizes the spawns by class, so a Cyberdemon will never spawn in place of an Imp, or a BFG in place of a shotgun. There is a lite version of this (that only replaces monsters) which you can download elsewhere.

Because it's a ZDoom bug that broke the weapon and if you look at Realm667 forum, there is an update to the weapon. Scalliano seems like he doesn't want to update the damn resources to latest versions, he just keeps them bugged. :(
