Q : Now that Last Day 1.3 comes by default with better hands models why should I use this addon?
A : What you get now by default in Last Day 1.3 is almost the same content that what released with the 1.2.0 version of this addon, which is a port of an original CoM mod upon which this addon is built and has evolved.
Although it might offer a bit less variety in hands models, this addon presents more variety in outfit visuals as many outfits such as nbc suits, light assault vest, all military suits and more will now have their own faction visual, all with custom textures that stay close to the game lore.
For a more detailed list of changes that this addon offers please refer to the changelog below.

Copy this archive content in your JSGME addon folder and activate the mod within the manager, or manually copy this archive gamedata folder in your game directory to install, do the same for the optional folders.
To see more of the player's arm in-game, I recommend setting the HUD field of view to .50 or .55, and even up to .65 for the exo-suits (default .45), the other general FOV setting above it will depend on your monitor size and resolution.
No new game required !

Could you make the hand models that are on the NBC suit the same for the sunrise suit? The ones on the sunrise suit seem to have a lower poly model than all the other hand models.
Hands are way too clean for a gritty place like the Zone.
I'm currently working on an optimized version of the assembly, stay tuned...

Is this happening with the very latest upload (12/09)?
It fixed missing animations settings of this build initial upload (12/08), the PPsh-41 given at the start of a stalker faction game works fine with it.
Are you using any weapons addon on top of LD ?
I am not using any weapon addons on top of LD, and having just started a new character I have so far not had the issue. I will keep you updated if it happens again.

Although Last Day 1.3 finally introduce better hands models by default, this pack will not become obsolete.
I am currently looking at what can be improved with the new meshes, also actor.ltx and outfit.ltx have substantial changes, so a compatible update will be released in the coming days.

Hey, there's a bug with at least the Clear Sky NBC suit where the left wrist breaks and bends at an ungodly angle when holding the Saiga 12S. On some weapons like the An-94, the arm is normal.
I haven't tested the bug in game but you can try to replace the nbc suit mesh with this one: Megaupload.us it is an alternate version of the mesh, it could solve the problem, or the fix may be in modifying the weapon's files probably wpn_saiga_hud.ogf??

Just hoping it will work with R7 dev build.
I do not have access to this build but it is necessary to check in the following file "\gamedata\configs\creatures\actor.ltx" from this build or any other for that matter, if any outfit(s) added or changed visual(s) and eventually add the necessary mesh(es) and textures files after that.
Haven't tested extensively but it appears to work okay with the new 1.3 Patch. I'll post more info if I have a crash or anything, but I'm pretty sure the outfits and the like didn't get touched?
Any chance you could do mask overlays, I know a good few people are looking for the old M40 gas mask overlay with better view and that little water droplets any chance of that ?
I kind of feel like the merc suits should be more black's and greys then camo sleeves, that is at least what the models look like wearing the suits

Actually that might not be this addon's fault.
Dynamo charger has never worked properly, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's just it being broken. If you're trying to use dynamo, just don't. It's broken and I'm not really sure why it's even included.
If it isn't happening with anything else, then you can safely use this addon.

There's another addon for hands for CoM, it's russian,a mix of different autors models, but this addon with some of the moddels of that addon will be great! It is possible do something like that?

hi , sorry to bother but, I copied the gamedata from the "Add - Interface - HD Hands for Last Day 1.3.1" folder and the hands are still to close to the camera. how do I know that the addon is working?.
You should make this mod Compatible for Dead Air.
