Description

I am aware there is apparently some new issues for users on Win 11 and/or with Origin (EA App) not getting the mod to run. This workaround should work for now. (you may need to run it as Admin) Simply extract to the 2nd C&C Generals Zero Hour game folder (or wherever the mod is installed to) and run it, follow the menu instructions, then run the game as you would normally thru the app. It can also be accessed via the start menu mod folder as the "repair utility". If Windows asks to replace files click "Yes To All".

Do note too for those wanting to make maps with the mod, this can enable mappers to have access to the mod assets thru the WorldBuilder without alt+tabbing the game with the mod running.

I am the one that posted about the error. when it crashed it said critical error if that helps. I will try to reinstall to see if that resolves the issue.

reinstalling it lets the game work until I exit the application and then that black box says access denied and it loads up zero hour.

I tried all the troubleshooting listed here. Like i said works flawless first boot up and then after i close the game i cant run it. Running as administrator wont even up that dos box. The mod is really cool, keep up the good work! Ill check out the next update for sure.
