After more than four years of development, Depth is coming to Steam this November. Zip up your wet suits, shake off your fins, and get ready for some deep-sea violence!
We have launched an updated website for the game which has a ton of information about both species and their particular strengths. There you will also find a bunch of new screenshots, concept art, and most importantly ... our new trailer, "Blood and Gold", which shows off some of the fast paced, asymmetrical combat you can expect when playing Depth.
If you are looking to get involved in the Depth player community, you can head on over to our Steam Forums and post your thoughts and comments about what you'd like to see from the game, when it releases.
See you down there!
holy smokes I am so excited!
"...those problems seem to arise the ones you never really thought of.
The feeling you get is similar to something like drowning.
When you're out of your mind, you're out of your depth, you should have taken soundings."
Great to see you're still alive! Looking forward to more updates.
Well played.
Just imagine this with oculus rift, that's gonna be something truly scary.
t'will be scary anyway :)
That's the first thing I thought when I saw this game.
Pretty cool
Can't wait to see what comes of this. Keep up the good work!
These sharks are damn fast, I guess the first guy will die a lot, just so the others get warned. The sharks are almost like some kind of stealth predator. I know there are defensive measures (used at e.g. underseas excavation sites), such as pierced tubes that evaporate bubbles of pressurized air from the ground. Sea animals hesitate or simply don't penetrate that invisible curtain. Stuff like that could be useful in order to strategically plan a getaway.
I also like the new Logo, Very sharkey.
This game is so good!
YES!
getts better everytime i see it
I've been checking in on this game since it was very early in development and I have to say, its taking every fiber of my being not to do cartwheels through my office right now! Depth looks like an incredible game, both in concept and in art style. I couldn't be more thrilled that you guys have come back to finish the job.
Rock on guys!
I'm right there with you, man.
Really AMAZING work! :D
