It's that time of year again! Our team is proud to announce the release of Cold Ice Remastered Beta 4! This one took us a year to improve. It includes lots of additions, mutators, and gameplay modes. Beta 4 is now available for download. Please pick it up and join our Discord!
Cold Ice Remastered Beta 4 contains all Beta 3 goodies with many additions. It has six new maps, including fresh reskins of classic maps such as rustmill (frostmill), thehill (thechill), and dm3 (cold_base).
We introduce twenty-one new mutators that spice up the play for pure fun. Some of our favorites are portal (fight with portalguns), slowbullets (bullets are slow), 999 (everyone has 999 health), autoaim, pumpkin (where players wear pumpkins!), and many more!
Included with this release are three new gameplay modes. Apart from traditional deathmatch, we created capture the chumtoad, where players collect points from taking the chumtoad. chilldemic, which is our take on the virus game. And gungame, battling through 44 levels of weapons! We rebranded our Iceman gameplay mode to Jesus vs. Santa and introduced an end-of-the-map voting system.
In addition to all the gameplay, we have five new weapons: a flamethrower and dual flamethrowers, coach guns, and the portal gun. We have plenty of new parkour elements, including the triple jump with a front flip and the all-new hurricane kick. The HUD is also improved. All this, plus support for single players and many bug fixes from beta 3, make this release ultra-stable!
