Did you know Cold Ice Remastered is the oldest rebooted GoldSrc fan mod in history? We didn't either, but the Cold Ice Remastered team continues its work on Beta 4. While we all wait for its delivery, Beta 3 is available to play here. This month we are working on adding new weapons.
Cold Ice Remastered Beta 4 will feature dual hand cannons. Taking the power of the original shotgun, we incorporated extra point damage to those lucky enough to find it on the map. And with all Cold Ice Remastered, weapons are compatible with every HLDM map.
As always, all dual-styled weapons have their equivalent single-styled partner. Players can quickly swap between both versions rapidly and effectively.
In addition to new weapons, we are improving offhand sliding and kicking so that they coordinate with firearms. In Beta 3, slide and kicking were separate from weapon functions, but in Beta 4, a player can do both simultaneously.
