It's really cool that being able to play a female character is even an option now. Such a simple little choice, but really helps add that extra layer to making your own character

The player can choose his/her own name, faction and gender when the game starts. You can play as a male or female. The video does show the new hand model and texture for the female character. I still have to edit it a bit to remove seams and add bumpmap. There will also be a female voice for the player on release. Some dialogs will change based on your faction, experiences and gender. There won't be any extreme changes or discrimination in any way in dialogs between genders, just some small edits.
Thank you for explaining. I keep rewatching this atmosphere video.The sounds, the tension, the bloodsucker popping out of nowhere as they are wont to do...and then the character describing their own death in text at the end; a really macabre (but fitting) touch.

I was always looking for an addon, which combines viscid, horrid atmosphere of 'Shadow of Chernobyl' with Misery addon. Alongside with a good story behind those mechanics, that is. Guess i should not look any further, as long as you keep teaming up with mp5lng. Any news on release date?
