Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
The Nebulon H, or Hybrid, is a joint production ship that results from the Kuati-Dac Trade Coalition. Mon Calamari armor technology paired with the durability and firepower of Kuati engineering will be resulting in some special ships for the war effort.
The Nebulon H is an advanced class warship, packing the power of cuiser into the size of a large frigate. Larger than the standard Nebulon B class, the H Class has stronger shields and a deadly array of weaponry capable of making any alien invader tremble in fear.

You can't see it from this angle, but the ship has 4 ventral turrets as well, so it is deadly from all angles.
Why so many variants? Not that I don't find it breathtaking.
Different versions have different roles.
The neb b is fastest, but has weakest weapons. B2 is a little slower, but has more weapons and longer range missiles. Neb ranger has repair capability, more weapons and sensor ping. The H here has stronger shields and the most weapons.
Not all ships will be made available at the same time, and not in the same locations. If you have been keeping track of our unit list, you may have noticed that the GA will need to fight against the Vong, Hutts, Peace Brigade, Pirates, Yeveetha, Ssi Ruuvi, Chiss and Vagaari.
These different races do not fight the same, nor do they use the same types of weapons.
We have put a lot of thought into the mod, and it is going to be a little different than your standard "make a lot of units and go attack" style of gameplay.
well making alot of units, especially triangles is kinda why i play FOC xD but i like that you are going to be using a different style :)
You should make one big GC where they DO fight against all those guys. It would be awesome.
Then again everything that touches this mod becomes golden.

Awesome! I'm not sure how you guys are going to get around the GC freeze bug or have more than 3-4 active GC AIs but it sounds like you guys are doing great work given the game's limitations!
Why have them fight the Hutts, Chiss, and Vagaari? Did all that happen in comics rather than books?
All that did happen in the books.
The Yeveetha were going to attack the koornacht cluster, the Ssi-Ruuvi were going to retake Bakura sector, the Hutt empire fought off the vong for more than half the war, the Chiss were allied with the GA, but became enemies during the swarm war, Vagaari constantly attacked the Chiss and imperials, then raided the galaxy after the swarm war (we are including the swarm war in our timeline), and the mandalorians began their rise to power.
We are creating a complete timeline from the beginning of the vong war to the end of the swarm wars. Since this is a game, with 3 playable factions, we must account for alternate scenarios for everything. It would not be enjoyable to play as the Hutts and ultimately lose, we have to determine what would happen if the GA lost and the Hutts ruled the galaxy.
We are following the books as closely as possible, but new content will be added to ensure a complete gaming experience.
Ah I didn't realize this continued on until the Swarm War. I could remember the Hutts attacking Legacy of the Force and of course Durga during Darksaber but just didn't see them fighting more than maybe a skirmish or two with the NR back around the Agents of Chaos books. Then knew the Chiss and GA along with other fleets defended Mon Cal during the Unifying Fotce. I knew nothing of the Vsgaari outside of the events of Outbound Flight and Survivor's Quest.

If these ships have individual ship names (like ISDs and Mon Cals) you could always add Red October as one of the ship names. haha.

I believe you should be fine, a good processor and RAM is what is most important for model creation, graphics cards are more for playing the game I think.

one big question... as large as this mod seems how are you going to take into account the after so and so long you loose control of your units error that plagues most mods?
:). This is one of the best kept secrets of our mod, we DO have a solution to this, and while it will ensure an an enjoyable complete game, it may be a little different than what some might be expecting.
We will be talking more about this later, but this aspect has definitely been thought through.
