Description
This ship will be included in our 2nd release, not the first, but it completes the line of Miid Ro’ik ships. The DB Adaptation had less weapons than the Battleship and Carrier variants, but featured extra clusters of Dovin Basals. The fighter compliment was the same number as the Battleship, but a slightly different mix (yet to be determined). The special abilities were also different. The DB Adaptation featured increased Point Defense and Shield Leech.
Almost identical in appearance, subtle differences distinguished the 2 Adaptations from the Battleship Ro’ik. The Carrier has extra docking tentacles along its top and bottom coming out of the shell crevices while the DB featured elongated sensory tendrils mostly along its underside. Being able to spot the differences in the thick of battle would allow GA commanders to quickly adjust their battle plans to better attack each warship.
(As long as they were not distracted by how pretty they looked.... :P )
Why will it not be included in the first release ?
The ship is not included in the initial Yuuzhan Vong skirmish roster, because there is no role for the ship to fill at the moment.
Later down the road we will reshape the initial Yuuzhan Vong skirmish roster, and split it into two different rosters, a Praetorite Vong roster, and a late-war roster.
We might find an appropriate use for the ship then, but that has not yet been decided.
