The compression loss when trying to downscale a 4K image to be 8MB for Mod Db uploads really is unfair justice.... this thing looks much better in the game...
The team worked very hard on this, this is our end result, bottom photo is an in-game screenshot.
Doci and Revan did an outstanding job with being able to create such a high detail texture for the rock surface when zoomed in close... more to come in the next few weeks...
Its beautiful either way, we all can see the huge amount of effort they did. :)
Better than nothing.
I bet the real model will look greater than I can possibly imagine :)
