The Mandator MK3
Created by Geroenimo and Burntstrobe, the massive beast finally comes to life. Safeguarding the orbital rings of Kuat, this floating fortress of a shield has been able to repel just about anything the galaxy has to throw at it... just about anything...

We are uploading a video of this so that you may all actually see this ship, functioning in the game. You heard me correctly, actual in-game footage of this beast, operating and working flawlessly, with zero frame rate drop.

Just wondering, the Mandator III is measured 12km only according to wookipedia..., but not the length shown in picture that the ship has the exact(or almost) the same length as Viscount.....

There is some debate about how big the Viscount is, so we have opted for a shorter length for a number of practical reasons.
This mod makes me more and more excited with every update.
The vong can now be only somewhat impressed. Then later they are going to drop their big *** ships in and try to obliterate everyone.

These ships are so awesome, but will they all be usable to the player or will many of them only be independent fleets protecting the planet?
remind me how much of chance do the vong have of ever winning against this ship?
A Vong worldship quite possibly could outgun it...

And also a question: are all those dreadnoughts going to have a building limit?

Is this also going to be in the hands of the New Republic, which conquered Kuat more than a decade before the Vong invasion? (If the canon history is being followed in such detail, that is.)
Kuat was part of the New Republic, but after the fall of the Galactic Senate, all words became independent until the formation for Galactic Alliance.
but was this designed before Kuat was assimulated into the New republic? It looks very imperial
The Mandator series was made for Kuat defence fleet itself back in the days of the republic before the empire rised.
Yes it looks emperial cause of the Kuat designers, the designers made many ships that looks miuch the saes, and many of them where emperial ships, thats also why they all have the same command structure. The T shaped command tower or bridge was designed by Kuat.
And enereally the Mandator series have been designed before the new republic era, atleast the mandator 1 and 2, the third im not sure about.
Just made some research,the Design was made abit before the Empires start, as far as i can read me to, so the design was made in the end of the clone wars and the start of the empire era.
So technically it did serve with the Empire

We got the viscount,executor,this baby,the secutor mk2,the inquistor class and maybe the annihaltor too since all other ships of fractal sponge are used. So, is this the last dreadnought class ship( bigger than 5km ) for the galatic alliance?

A question. According to the Essential Guide of Warfare there were a minimum of 5 of these. The Panthac and Aculeus were both destroyed during the Reborn Emperor crisis. So will we only have 3 Mandator III's buildable?
