Description
The D4, or Defense Escort Corvette type40, was designed exclusively for Bothawui by Corellia after seeing the benefit of having strike fleets composed of smaller sized ships with heavy armaments. The Paladin features 5 medium dual turbolasers, 2 fast tracking anti-aircraft blasters, 2 forward fixed medium concussion missile launchers, 6 cluster bomb disperses and the ability to deploy mines.
the White/Red/White coloring is the Bothan Blood Stripe, a theme of all Bothan ships.

Color wise it looks very Clone Wars Republicish. I like the Bothans' style. The overall design looks Correlian though.

Truly stunning work there. That is definitely one of the prettiest ships I've seen in the mod so far.
So, gameplay terms, what are we looking at here?
Medium frigate armed with capital ship weapons?
Corvette, armed with Frigate-class weapons
Do you really think those puny little lasers are capital-grade weapons?

Didn't really have a good sense of scale as the ship is by itself here.
Still, I'm betting it will be loads of fun to mass produce these and swarm the enemy.
our weapons are standardized to help create a more realistic version of scale. The same dual medium turbos on the Paladin are the same on the CR90, the same FTAA turrets on the Paladin are the same on the DP20, and these weapons are the same on all other ships, such as the medium dual turbos featured on Star Destroyers
It all helps the scale to be more accurate and believable
