Russo-Japanese War 0.2 file - WW1 Mod for Hearts of Iron 3: TFH for Hearts of Iron III: Their Finest Hour
Pretty simple, you get to play WW1 instead of WW2. You can start in 1910 and fight your way through the Italian-Ottoman war and the Balkan wars, or jump straight into the action in January 1914 in preparation for the main event. The events, leaders, ministers, governments, orders of battle, tech tree, units, graphics, game mechanics and AI have all been rewritten. Game features include: Units will dig in much more effectively meaning stalemates happen much more frequently to simulate trench warfare. Naval battles are more action packed as Dreadnoughts clash and there are (nearly) no aircraft carriers. Military aviation is in it's infancy but quickly becomes more important as the war progresses The mod includes stormtroopers, zeppelins, gas warfare and submarines Special scenarios for the Spring Offensive and Gallipoli campaign

its nice to see that there's still more being added
So i thought too. And the new stuff is published right now. Some important "bug" fixes (or how you might call the result of my limited modding skills) and a tiny fictional and optional (there is a chance that it will happen) event chain involving the Qing Empire.
When will be added a new version ? This mod is absolutly genial ! I like more than Hearts of iron 4...

But I have no ideas what to add.
I share an opinion of the guy above me, now that Black Ice for HOI 3 is being community developped, you could maybe try to import new map textures and buildings from that mod, plus the division complexity(as much as the ww1 time period allows) and stuff, and more events and all that, make this mod alive again, i'm ready to help as much as i can, i have some experience in modding.
