This mod brings the Undead, Beastmen, Demon playable sub-factions besides adding up to 70 new units into the existing factions. It works on all versions of SpellForce 2 and it is playable in the Campaign, Free Game, Skirmish, Multiplayer and Domination modes..

because sadly it has soon been 3 years since the last update..
if you're not planning to continue then please just say it and maybe do a 1.0
and be done with it... still like the mod and thank you for making some of my dreams come true with playing with undead / beastmen units!! (seeing as the building acpects of those races were never introduced, a bit sad, it is what it is)

is this mod fully finished? becasuse i really wanna know if it will ever continue, i remember asking idk 1 or 2 years ago if the mod was ever going to contain undead / beastmen buildings for the player to build but i guess i didn't get a clear answear and the last screenshot post i got on the undeads roster was skeleton mages that never even got added? kinda bummed out about it.. and i know you could make a huuuge roster for undead but a bit harder for beastmen... i gotta say i very much like the older version (0.73 or something) than the newer. it's literally my childhood dream come true, everything except actually building the undead / beastmen buildings
Sadly, real life issues got in the way of the modding. I'll continue the work on the mod as soon as possible, hopefully that is. :(
na it's fine dude, start modding whenever you feel like / can, just got into playing spellforce again / your mod. wanted some skeleton and beastman action was wandering if the mod had been updated or not or maybe it had just finished. tho im expecting a skeleton mage in the future and maybe buff the bonemancer to do more healing or multiple targets ;)
if ofc you're going to continue working on the undead, beastmen and demon factions that is and if you might continue i wanna put a request on adding "Gurak", he has a uniqe stormbeast look or atleast differnet colored and bigger.. maybe put it as an elite stormbeast? costing 2-3 population w/cleave? idk.. ok enough of me

I downloaded, but I don't know what to do next (it's like black magic for me) I tried everything but it didn't work :(
Copy and paste "base" and "addon1" folders that are included in the extracted mod folder into the SF2 main directory, say "yes" to "replace all".
Steam\steamapps\common\Spellforce 2 Gold Edition for example.
Can we make custom campaign with this?
I enjoy the mod. Most of the units are well designed and balanced. But the "grinder" from The Clans has to be a joke. I mean 2250-7200 armor piercing damage every 1s and hitting multiple units is insanely broken. The "grinder" needs a big nerf. That thing oneshots most low to middle tier units.
Apart from that you did a great job. Thank you for keeping this game alive.

hello there. i have extracted the files and deleted the old files and moved the new ones in. the game wont launch when i use steam launcher. please help.
You don't have to delete the old ones, just replacing them would've been enough. Go to your library, right click on the game, select "Properties", select "Local files" tab, click on "Verify integrity of game files". Then copy and paste the mod files through replacing the old ones, don't delete anything. If the issue persists, disable Steam Cloud for the game through the same "Properties" window and reinstall the game.
