The Victoria 2 Vanilla Enhancement Suit mod makes small changes to Victoria 2 to enhance the vanilla game experience by improving localization, graphics, sounds and other elements.
There are two versions available, the light version makes changes only to graphics and sounds and should be compatible with other mods such as HPM and PDM while the standard version also makes changes to localization and small gameplay adjustments and is not compatible with other mods.

Removing the background from the windows is a really nice change. I figured something like that was possible from playing HOI3's BlackIce which did a similar fix, and I noticed the possibilities when I was making the Victoria 2 Cursed mod. I wouldn't be surprised if all the big mods will soon take that idea and add it themselves. Such a nice little change.
