U4eFortress combines the classic tactical TeamFortress combat with even more classical RPG features, spices everything up with the well known splendour of U4e weapon functionality and optics, and finally brings you to a wholly new gaming experience by smoothly fitting in a magical system containing a total of 67 spells, each of them more unique than many many other systems of commercial games.
The Classes:
Each class have its specificities, abilities and weapons, you won't be able to pick the weapons of your poor and dead enemies, but only their ammo. There are 13 classes, all have weak and strong sides but each class is invidually balanced, I mean that, for example : the cleric (correspond to medic) can heal his teammates, but it also has a big hammer which is throwable, fires lightnings and hurts a lot, and he can handle the holy hand grenade. The classes like the weapons mix magic and technology, they are a bit similar to what you can find in the RPG Shadowrun, the best examples are the Cyberknight with his energy blade and the Crusader with his double-barreled-sawed-off-shotgun. The other classes are more or less the ones of TF : Scout, Sniper, Heavy Gunner...with some goodies like beartraps, selfdestruct and even poison vials looking like health vials.

Guys,how do i change class in this mod,i just keep respawning as a damn soldier and if some1 can tell me how can i change class :D
good mod...but there are a few things i have issues with...one when i play as scientist...and my team mates (bots) keep running into my barricades.....perhaps if this ever gets updated...they could fix this and allow the bot to detect a freakin brick wall?
Bots also activate your traps, so I guess it won't, they left this mod in order to make the one for UT2003 and later on 2004 who were never finished

but...it's not working! WAHHH! I'm sad...so basically, any of the various and sundry superweapons (FleshBomb Rifle, Nuke Arrow, BFG, QSG) that make a big flashy explosion, crash the game. Not only that, they crash my entire ******* gaming rig, because you can't Alt+F4 out of UT, and UT doesn't respond at all so I'm stuck with a big UT screen with my cursor arrow for my desktop occaisionally flashing on screen, and I have to do a hard shut down EVERY TIME. The exact same problem has occoured before for me, but it was so lnog ago I can't remember how the hell I fixed it AT ALL! HELP! PLEASE! THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOD! AGHHHHHHHHH!
its random..ive had that happen a lot as well. sorry i cant help you..
that happens to me as well even on some maps...all i remember was i managed to open a program using the windows button and the arrow keys then i hit enter and suddenly the desktop updated..not sure if this was a fluke, but it seemed to work then.and always try to use ctrl+alt+delete first...if that doesnt work then think of something
