Hello everyone! Today's announcement is the release of the next version, version 1.88.71!
Version release announcement of 1.88.71! It adds new units thanks to Kekoulis and Cosmocrat on top of a lot of art fixes. It is a small update nevertheless, definitely not our grandest release to come, but this small update shouts "WE ARE ALIVE!" and more will come in the future.

FUTURE RELEASES!
Now with 1.88.71 released and compact into a full installer, future releases will be fixing what should be fixed from 1.88.71 and adding the long suggested balance to UA! This is all happening because version 1.9 release will be so huge that it will take a very long time to see its light publicated! Buuut... we hope to add some version 1.9 content to keep the public occupied at the same time update both versions of 1.9 and public releases. "Experimental" versions will be downloadable on Lord Cylarne's channel while versions we see everyone should have will be placed everywhere including here. I hope to release more and more patches as the future progresses.
THE FINAL GRAND RELEASE!
So what exactly is planned for the future of the Ultimate Apocalypse mod? Lord Cylarne, the main developer is back! Cosmocrat, our lead modeler is back in action! Kekoulis, our very beloved modeler as well is pumping out new content like no tomorrow, and a version 1.9 release is our biggest release -EVER-.
Called the Grand Release Gold Edition, version 1.9 is going to have content greater than version 1.7's grand release and own a capacity of more *censored information* playable in the Ultimate Apocalypse mod that "outwits" version 1.8 (Ultimate Apocalypse The Hunt Begins). We're EXTREMELY excited to finally get this version out there as we hope it is the final most epic one possible! New ideas are going into it as well and as the future progresses, a Grand Release teaser #2 will be showcased on Lord Cylarne's channel and definitely more to come!

Will those smaller updates slow down the work on the big complete release?
Honestly i have no problem to keep playing 1.88.5 or 0.6 or the current 0.7 since UA is already the best dow 1 mod if you guys can save effort and time that way.

The "Long awaited" patch will probably be v 1.9

When you go to the trailer because you think it tells you about the update and it wastes a minute and a half of your life. But thanks for the update and love the mod, still keeps DoW great even in 2019

I saw in a picture from 2 years ago, you were looking into integrating the campaign into the mod, is that still in the plan for the mod going forward?

I'm so incredibly amazed at everyone's dedication to this mod's continued development. Bloody legends, all of you. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. It makes me really happy to see these updates still flowing through.
I do have one question though, and I apologise since I imagine you've received this question a bunch already;
What's happening with Salcol's work? In the interim since the official release there was a 50-something page Google doc worth of patch notes that balances everything out.
Has this been merged into the official release, and is salcol with the team? Or is it just something entirely separate?

Hey guys, love your mod so far, its easily the most amazing mod produced for Soulstorm in its long history, and probably the best mod produced for any game period.
However, I've discovered that multiplayer doesn't work, I tested the multiplayer with different combinations of addons, different maps, etc.
Every time, the game would finally load, and my friend who was testing it with me would immediately lose, probably meaning there was a sync error. We got this error every time we tried to play a match.
This is an ongoing issue I used to have when playing with my friends, however it does work we was trying to get it to go between 4 people and it took a few tries. Make sure you all have the correct instillation its very temperamental and you may have to mess around with different options to get it to work better but keep trying it does work.

When Will The Different Chapters Be Added For The Space Marines?
Because just Playing as a Regular SM or Legion of the Damned
+I Bet Their Won't Be Any Different Legions for the Imperial Guards if i'm Right But i would love the Steel Legion So Badly
One of the few Ork units i think you're missing is the Deff Dredd, i hope it's coming in 1.9 <3. Also, hopefully something official to add the appocalpse mod to the campaign, i've never been good at modding and adding things to games properly :'(
