in principle, I can say that I liked the mod even very much, but it would be nice to add new weapons for the mod.
here 's another question : are you planning to add new weapons to your mod for version 2 ?

Try decompile OG models not by MS3D default decompiler but cratisto one. It fixes this kind of errors
Hi, dont know if you did but use the original model of the mod and then replace the old meshes with new meshes to your liking, that is what I did. Use fragmotion its sometimes easier to work with than milkshape.
I take the criticism kindly, i will try to fix it at some point
For people wondering why the download files are so big, it's because of the high detail textures included, which when unrar'd are around 1.2GBs and 1.6GBs respectively.
As an addendum to that, I'd like to point out that I think this ReMod is quite flawed, in several ways.
- First, there's the improperly animated NPCs. The HD models from Blue Shift (and therefore almost every single HD model made by others, which used those as a base) had one or two animations missing, so they tend to break in custom mods. It's best seen in this mod during the cutscenes with the scientists in the DNA splicing - they should be cowering in fear, but instead they... walk forward on the spot. Also, the HD G-Man's walk cycle is slower than the LD one, which is why this mod's opening cutscene (which follows the G-Man) doesn't work super well.
- Second is the new HUD - or more specifically, the giant circle around the crosshair (visible in the screenshots here). It's on screen all the time, it's ugly as sin and it does a wonderful job of obscuring on-screen messages. So that's convenient.
- Finally, there's the High Resolution textures... which are incredibly hit and miss. I won't deny they're sharper, but I've always felt they clash with the feel of GoldSRC, and it doesn't help when the mod isn't designed for them, so you'll see textures are upside down or aren't sequenced properly in places. Very distracting.
In short - I'd say play the original.
I have stripped the remod of all that was not quite right i came up with a very stripped version of the mod. I then just downloaded the original version because I had some issues with the remod. I made some custom models completely in accordance with the original models and I am now playing the mod in hl resrced using my own hd textures because I didnt like most of the remod textures. So I agree with the comment, this unfortunately is not much of a remod; I can upload stuff that can be better called a remod for this mod.
Maybe al try to add a patch for that when i have time, al fix the following issues later so we should be ok.
