Is there any way to change where the ejected shells come from? Like having them be expelled a bit more center mass?

The shell is tied to the muzzle if I put it center mass the muzzle flash will be center mass. (engine limitations)

Still looks really strange how the barrels do no recoil, it's like a little yellow blob just hops out...

Since the unit deploys to fire and has a 32 way facing turret it is static (can't add 32 firing animations)(engine limitations)

They would look so much better if you gave them their firing animation from TW.

I can make it have an 8 facing fire animation but that will no longer make the unit deployable it will walk and fire, I don't know if that's something ppl will like (mechanically and balance-wise) but if ppl say its a better fit it is possible to make it just a bigger wolverine.

I wouldn't mind it TBH, the unit is inferior to Nod's Artillery. Is there a way to make it unable to fire unless holding still without deployment?

Hmmm, well hard to say, technically all TS units need to stop to shoot, but having an un-deployed version might be considered a bit too OP cuz the counterpart needs to be rooted in place, plus since it uses a 3 burst weapon you can cheese it to the pot that you have a machinegun arty.
I'm open to the option and working on a variant that is undeployed, so we will see.
