Welcome back, Commander! You haven't been forgotten since we won the 5th Best Upcoming Mod of the Year 2017 we've been so inspired and very hard at work on Tiberian Sun Rising. I do apologise for the slow down in updates we will be keeping you up to date with more regularity now.

We did some planning and re-organisation and we'll be producing content more efficiently now. But we do want to accelerate the development of Tiberian Sun Rising for you all particularly in the Art department that will have the greatest impact. We are currently looking for 3D Artists who can model & texture. Looking for 3D artists who are good modelling machinery structures/vehicles but also looking for Character Artists who can model organic/character meshes. If you think you've got the skills and love what we do please contact us here. In addition, we'd also like to expand our Level Design team if you've got experience with C&C3s Worldbuilder please sense us some maps you've done here. Lastly, a skilled 3D Animator good at creating skeletons & animating characters would accelerate things for us greatly here if you'd like to animate some of our cool units/characters please get in touch here. We'll be advertising in a few places to recruit new team members but we are drawing closer to public beta so its a very exciting time to join our team. Automatic Gates! and the Cyborg Commando!
Now for what you came here for! In this update, we wanted to show you the Automatic Gates which are completely automated. There are manual controls for Commanders who prefer that or want to lock down specific gates from accidental opening by friendly units nearby. We also have a treat for you Kane's Temple which I'll clarify now this isn't a buildable structure for Nod players and this isn't a screenshot or confirmation of mission development our focus is still skirmish & multiplayer right now Kane's temple will appear in multiplayer/skirmish maps. Lastly, we have a new design for Nod's Cyborg Commando by the very talented Joshua Wright (previously did the Tiberium Fiend concepts). We wanted a design that looked stronger and more menacing than the original Westwood concept while still taking cues from the original design. The Cyborg Commando is quite the sight to behold in Tiberian Sun Rising we wanted it to be noticeable and unique and you certainly learn to fear this quickly if you don't already.
The Electronic Video Agent has finally been connected to the bases Gate's no longer will Commanders have to manually activate and deactivate gates (unless they choose to in emergencies). EVA will now automatically open and close gates for friendly forces trying to enter or leave the base. This has improved GDI base security and productivity. It is still advised for Commanders to setup Mobile Sensor Arrays to make sure no Nod Stealth vehicles are trying to sneak in through a gate while letting a friendly through. Alternatively placing Limpet Drones in front of gates is another good way to weed out enemy stealth vehicles.
GDI Intelligence reports increased Nod activity at the Nod Temple in Cairo, we haven't received any information from Hassan about these movements. General Soloman has ordered us to keep a closer eye on Anton Slavik's movements we and to ignore Cairo. We'll monitor the area but Nod has Temple's all over the place so this doesn't appear significant.
GDI spies within the Brotherhood got their hands on a juicy piece of intel managing to acquire plans for a new model of Cyborg we haven't encountered in the field yet. The Cyborg Commando if Nod is actually producing these this is an alarming development. It appears to be armed with some kind of Plasma weaponry and is also armed with a wrist-mounted flamethrower on the other arm. Unlike the Cyborg forces we've been engaging in the field this has a completely robotic body. The organic components of the soldier housed within the armoured robot body. These look truly terrifying opponents we'll need to start working on countermeasures in case we encounter these in the field they are an immense threat and that Plasma weaponry can pierce even the heaviest armour we have with ease. We'll keep you posted with more intelligence as it comes in Commander especially if we see one in the field you'll be first to know.
